Big Green Egg Reversible Cast Iron Half Griddle (Large)

The half griddle is also perfect for cooking your breakfast favorites—use the flat side for pancakes and eggs, and the ridged side for sausages and bacon. This item is designed to work with the Basket System for the convEGGtor® Large BIG GREEN EGG. It also fits a kamado EGG XLarge or 2XLarge.

The half grill plate is used in the convEGGtor® Large basket, positioned as desired. At the lower level, it's closer to the coals and can provide maximum grilling temperatures. When used at the upper level, the grilling temperatures are moderate, allowing even the most delicate foods to be cooked perfectly.

However, with the Big Green Egg XLarge and 2XLarge kamados, the Large half-grill plate can also be used directly on the main kamado grill. Tip: For the XLarge and 2XLarge models, it's best to use the larger half-grill plate to maximize the grill surface area. (Item: 122995)
